The story of winter
Well, where do we start with this title? As children, we have heard stories of kings, demons, flying devils, brave hearts, etc. But the story of winter !!! Neither heard such a story nor ever heard about such a story. So I thought let me write something about winter and it may become as story in future.
After ignoring the above answer I went through the mountain of other information. Finally, I got the answer (at least I thought so). It is the coldest season between autumn and spring Question: Oh Google, what are autumn and spring called in Marathi? Answer: शरद and वसंत you dumbo, don't think only your uncles can have these names. Any more questions ????? me:🙃No more questions. The name winter comes from an old Germanic word that means time of water and refers to the rain and snow of the winter in middle and high altitudes as can be seen from the above small photo. After this research, I felt confident enough to pursue PhD in any subject of my choice ( more about it in later posts).
For a country like India where summer temperatures sour to 45 degrees + and monsoon creates havoc in traffic due to incessant rain, winter is the season everyone eagerly awaits. The mild temperatures from November to January and the festival season, including Diwali, make winter a time that both children and adults eagerly look forward to.
Two more months to go for the winter of 2024. Happy waiting till then !!!
